I picked up a sweet one-family, original paint 62 off of Facebook Marketplace in Dayton this May. Spent a considerable amount of time and elbow grease detailing her. Tons of fun.

Nice car! And you found it in Dayton? I live about halfway between Dayton and Richmond, Indiana. Found my '65 in Brookville.

Just got my old shop bus back after selling it to a friend 15 years ago. Always had single and double cab splits and bays for shop trucks. At least the big 4X4s can see it next to them, unlike bugs. Love them bugs, but back then, the monster trucks that could take a right turn over you, not knowing you were there, were not so plentiful as now. I decided long ago that I was a bus guy.

When I was 18, my mom got a '73 convertible. They took it to Spain when they went. It was a pretty good little car for southern Spain. I got to drive it. It was pretty fun. I've thought a few times that having a beater here could be fun as an extra/project car if the weather was better for it, but I run AC almost all year round here.
