I apologize for the giant photo, but it's what I could find

speaking of pastel.... (or at least muted)

And where can I get this set of "matchbox" cars.
Looks like someone sold a set on the board in Dec for $120.

Looks like Dolphin Grey (356C/SC paint code 6410)

Will be what I do with my car when I can afford to rustore it.

Honestly, if I could afford a second 356... I'd do the one I have as perfect factory, do the second as a clone but change to tinted windows, black nitride "chrome", and a hot VW engine.

I've seen DG on black (my car), DG on Navy (Pedro's ... think he is/was a member here) and DG on red. The black looks the best of the 3, but navy and red aren't "bad".

I like the beige Tundra color. It’s not matte. Matte paint is for bathrooms and kitchens. It sucks on cars.

I prefer a Matt or Satin on cars over flat paint for a rat rod. Like a primer sealer over a sandable primer. It depends on the car, and the overall look.

I do like a lot of the new greys in gloss. It is a great look for a 911. There was a Singer a few years ago that really did it for me. A Targa I think.

With Easter around the corner, it's a perfect time to bring this Pastel thread back.

What better way (other than spending time with the fam and enjoying some chocolate) than by showing more of those beautiful, unique pastel color rides!

Matte paint and non metallic are two totally different things.
Colors become trendy and then get old. Remember Harvest Gold appliances in the kitchen?
Matte paint looks cool to me until I did the research. Most folks say keeping it looking clean is a nightmare.

Hey! That's my car in front of my house. I'm famous! It's the opposite of muted pastel, though.

My daughter ordered the gloss grey paint + black wheels on her 4 cylinder Cayman. Looks good.
Her husband ordered flat black finish, including wheels, on his Range Rover Sport. No thanks

Saw a Ferrari today California I think it was in best I can describe as a flat clay, sort of a tan/beige green tint. Red interior. The car itself was ugly but the color combination was nice. Had I known this thread was here I would have clicked a pic. I will see if it is around tomorrow.

I have been contemplating having my Xterra wrapped in one of these flat gray, beige colors.
