Bathurst 12 Hours

Starts in less than 30 min. Phenomenal course with very close racing. A bucket list event, imho.

Stream will be either at

https://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/streams-tv/international-streaming/

or hopefully somewhere on https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBctK8Y-h1EjZUNqgYBGS_Q

Timing at http://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/live-timing/

Also stream at NismoTV, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD2MhysM8cw

a friend watched this race from start to finish and said it was one of the best races he had ever seen
I believe it was anyones race until shortly before the end
strangely next to nothing in the local press for a world series round

cheers
Dennis

That is surprising. The race seems to have stronger fields each year with more popularity.

I have a difficulty following GT racing because all I start to notice after a short while is BOP.

For some reason Bathurst seems to not favor a particular car as much as other GT races.

Each car gets to show its respective strength, the aerodynamics of a Nissan GTR, the broad torque range of the Mercedes, etc...

I do wish one year it could have the GT4's as the top class instead of the GT3's.

100% agree with OP. Fantastic racing, the 911 made 3 phenomenal passes in the last 10 minutes (or whatever) to win... And the views, the track.. It's now on my bucket list to visit Australia end of January and catch this race !

Actually pretty much any australian race on TV looks mad, V8 supercars is pretty cool too.... But mount panorama is a hell of a racetrack.

BTW one of the few reasons I keep my motortrendondemand sub - the live events such as these... The rest is all redneck car shows now..

It was a fabulous race, coming down to a stellar last 30 minutes after a pace car. Heres a 2min highlight package (check out the pass at 1.30)
