By the time I go to bed on most Tuesday nights I have worked over 30 hours already. Not proud of that either, I prefer it to be less than 16 hours.
I keep telling myself things are going to slow down and they do not, I never thought I would see things as busy as they are for as long as they have been going now, the last 2 years have been insane. My MIL was visiting last night, she came out to get a drink at midnight and saw I was still working, she asked me if I ever sleep. LOL! 5.5 hours a night is my norm. I took a long break this afternoon to go to the gym with my son, a quick count has me at 40 hours when I leave the office at 6 this evening. I will have a couple of hours of work this evening again after the family settles in. Easily a 65 hour seek this week. Like most weeks. The cool part is I get to choose my hours so I can break away spend some family time and get back at it.

I am so happy right now, I just finished up for the night and it is just before 11 PM.
I am getting an extra hour of sleep tonight. Guarantee!! My eyes will open up at 0500 wondering why I am still in bed. Then my brain will turn back on and then I will not sleep anymore. Off to bed!!

My brain still isn’t happy being retired. My body sure is though.
