I would think the 914 would be what fell apart in any collision, unless maybe it got hit by an Isetta or something.

Just read an article on EV cars. They are not selling well in America. Except for the Tesla model 3. Selling well. But here is the interesting part, people are not buying them because they are electric, they are buying them because they are Tesla’s. Elon Musk is like a super tech God. Other EV cars like the Chev Bolt are hardly selling. To many, there is only one EV, the Tesla. The model 4 has outsold BMW 3 series !!!!! Big car companies are spending billions making EV cars that no one wants. The new $175,000 Porsche Taycan for instance only has a range of 200 miles. Just not enough. Too Tesla model S gets near 400 and will get 400 soon. Also, the Taycan weighs 5000 pounds.

It's a good thing Obama gave Tesla a whole auto plant for free.

It’s a good thing that you’re trying to PARF up this thread w your lies.

The bottom line is that you can either play the golf ball, (or the market), where it lies or you can wipe your tears w your panties and whine about subsidies, etc. I’ll bet that oil company subsidies keep you up at night, right?

The loan didn't cover the free factory. There weren't charged anything for that.

Oil companies pay taxes. You don't understand the difference between a tax break (paying a lesser rate, but still paying) and a subsidy (being handed a stack of other people's money). There can be a legitimate debate about whether oil companies deserve to pay lower tax rates, but calling paying a lower tax rate a subsidy is just intellectually dishonest and immediately sabotages any legitimate discussion.

All of the automakers are facing a bad year because of China. Just because Tesla defies reality everywhere else, doesn't mean this won't affect them.

Got a little tour.
Politics aside, it’s amazing what is built up and going on there. There’s an excitement and energy there that you can feel.
Say what you want about Musk, but he is a visionary and revolutionary, who is moving many things forward like very few humans have ever done.

Don’t know if that’s really true, but assuming it is, compared to what the govt gives away every day, week and month of the years, that was a very good one.
