The closest thing I ever watched was Justified. It has a beginning and a conclusion. Now there is a continuation with the same guy, but now in Florida. I have not seen any of that one yet. I need to re-watch Justified. They have a few bad guys you will really hate.

I really liked how they ended the series and the setup to the new one. Series endings, especially ones that are long planned sometimes are disappointing, but this one was very well done.

I kind of liked the first season but thought it was just ok. I’ve loved every season since. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I liked Harry’s wife and her story lines. The season where the civil rights lawyer was murdered was right up there. So many good story arches.

Welliver's son Quinn plays adolescent Harry in flashbacks. Also has a daughter Cora who was in the series one season.

i need some TV mogul to go back and finish SOUTHLAND, like they did Longmire. i need closure!! Southland was going GREAT and they just ended it without saying goodbye.

Agree... Southland was Great.

Another show we really liked that lasted only 1 season was "Terriers" which aired in 2010...

Also - pretty cool to have William Devane in it - I've always enjoyed his work.....
