Halfway through watching Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Free, with a 7 day free trial of STARZ... Not a great (or even good) movie so far, I hope it gets a lot better.

Over the years I have watched or tried to watch the "Hollywood insider" movies and most of them have great ratings from the critics, and are just painful horrible to watch. I usually give up. I will not even try on One upon a time.

If you guys are missing Bosch and haven’t watched Goliath yet, go check that out.

This season (6) is just as good as the past with surprises, twists, humble pie, grit and gritty detective work. Really enjoying it.

Am a Goliath fan as well. Billy-Bob Thornton is wonderful as an alchy attorney.

Looks like season 7 will be the last of the series. Amazon is canceling it after that.
Great series. One of the reasons I have kept Amazon prime

Titus is very good. Check out his Pacino impressions

I got a feeling that I can’t let go.

no.

damn. this is a great series. hate to see it go.

Hawaii 5-o and Madam Secretary..i'm okay with goodbyes. :)

if i could have a wish..i wish NetFlix or Amazon Prime would finish up that cop series SOUTHLAND. they ended it on the wildest cliff-hanger and just left us there holding our peckers. (euphemism)

it was a good show.

Agree, a great show. Great shows like this just get cancelled with no resolution while other formulaic police "dramas" go on for years with the same tired story lines.

Southland was outstanding.

^ Will have to check it out

Finished Season 6. It was good. I really like how they can develop 5 plots in one show and jump around between them.

Only thing that made me cringe was the Cesium. Medical physicist gets behind the lead glass shield, opens the Cesium drawer with a lead glove and then proceeds to unload it with large tweezers held by his naked hand.

I just finished re-watching all six seasons again. I really don’t understand why they’re only gonna do one more year of this. They could keep this going in definitely and I wouldn’t complain.

I tried to watch the movie “Man on a Ledge” the other day. Pretty much a crap movie... Titus Welliver plays the role of another cop in New York City. It was really weird to see him in that role.

It really is sad the so many shows or movies have just horrible gaffs that are just simply wrong or impossible. The standard TV cop show with the magic enhance button and make a fuzzy video image look sharp is just simply stupid and an insult to all the audience. I saw one TV show and a photographer had some huge long lens and was two feet from the model. I guess he was shooting a picture of her mole or one eye assuming he could have focused that close up.

They know 90% of the audience will never know it is wrong. One thing I really like about Bosch is it sure "feels" and looks like I think real cops operate. Not the simply over the top typical TV cop show like Lethal Weapon blow stuff up and take insane risks. And I like Lethal Weapon, but I know real cops are not like that at all.

the mis-steps in TV shows or Movies dont bother me one bit.

Lethal Weapon was a favorite of mine. i actually won trivia night when the topic was LW 1, 2 and 3! the winning answer was Amanda Hunsaker. :)

but the movie was retarded. remember when his trailer got shot up? he just takes the hottie South African chick home like he was dropping her off from Date-Night. no police report, his trailer wasnt a crime scene, etc. hahhaha..what a joke!!

Yep, and the paperwork is totally missing in most shows because it is boring. I love a good blow em up movie and can overlook silly errors. For some reason a good movie or TV show I expect more and a higher level of reality. At least in Bosch no one has ever just pounded on his keyboard and hacked into the FBI in 30 seconds.
