I've been very pleased with my Thorogood workboots. Made in the USA, on my second resole and they feel like I'm wearing slippers to work. I walk 5-8 miles a day so they have earned their keep....

Not my purchase, but my wife bought a Kevko baffled oil pan for the Cobra. Great customer support as well.

Bought some Medeco locks for the exterior doors for a home remodel. Every time I slip the key in there, the smoothness of the mechanism makes me smile.

Are you still pleased?
I am looking at the 20" and 12" versions. I have three other gas powered chains saws (Stihl poles saws and a wood master) but am looking for a more convenient solution for small jobs. I have a lot of other DeWalt battery powered stuff and so I have a lot of batteries and charging station. Thanks! Quote:

![]() Grabbed one similar to this while at the lumber yard a couple weeks ago, just on a whim (this is a stock photo). It was on sale for $25 and I'd ever had one before, thought I'd try it. The concept is GREAT! This one works fine, but I've been looking into them now and they are priced all over the map - 7 or 8 dollars up to over $100 for a rechargeable one. MrsWD grabbed it and uses it for sewing when I'm not using it in the shop. I'm thinking of getting a more powerful one for myself, as I could use a little more light than this one puts out. Anyone else use one that they recommend?

I upgraded to a $12 Milwaukee utility knife.
I threw away all my $1 HF plastic ones. Comes in very handy in the garage. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-Fastback-Utility-Knife-48-22-1901/202206146 ![]()

I was feeling real sluggish Tuesday so I went to the grocery store and picked up a bottle of prune juice.
I am 100% satisfied with the product. |

It's not a terribly recent purchase, but I've been playing the crap out of it lately and fell in love.

I used my birthday winnings in Vegas to get a new motorcycle jacket. While I like my icon textile jacket, I felt it was time to move to leather. Still breaking it in, but much more enjoyable on colder rides in the morning or evening. The fit is much nicer too, feels like it conforms to me, vs. just floating in a jacket.

Wife decided she didn't really care for the way her new Brother machine embroidered so we got her this at the end of last year. It hasn't been back to the shop so I'm happy as a clam. Her old machine (Pfaff, not the Brother) spent more time in the shop than at home. Hopefully her new Pfaffs will be better at staying home.

![]() It's not a purchase - I'm only fostering it for a few months - but I have to say this is the best damn stuffed squirrel I've ever had. It's durable and sufficiently life-like to scare the hell out of MrsWD's friends when they come over. It's on the mantle now, but who knows where it might appear in the house tomorrow. ![]()

I like the idea of hinge pins to secure the hinge side of a door. They won't really stop someone, but slow them down. It seems to me that what is really needed is a steel reinforced frame with screws that go into the studs around the frame. That would ensure that folks trying to get through the door wouldn't do it with one swift kick.

I have tried everything I know of to rotate your picture but it just keeps showing as rotated.
