How about the guy entering his house and a snake jumps off the light and bites him in the face.

That’s why all snakes are dead snakes.

My wife would be in a hotel until I could guarantee there were no other snakes in the house.

I have had at least two Garter snakes in my basement. My cats find them to be fun play toys.

This morning my wife tells me we have a problem and shows me this guy running around out side.

I tell her if I go out I'll kill him. She says I'll get arrested.

The most harmless animal in our cities...

...unless you are stupid enough to corner one.

Left alone they will get the hell out and as quickly as they can, which isn't too fast. About a fast human walk.

My dachshund takes care of any snake or possum that visits her yard. To date one possum, three snakes, and many mice (that I know of.)

i wouldnt have killed the snake. i'm not scared of them. but i understand. your living room, your rules.

possum. we had shades on my kitchen windows at my old house. had to put them in because my idiot neighbor keeps leaving on his side light. well, one night is see the silhouette of the biggest rat (walking along the top of fence) shadowed on my blinds. i ran out there to hopefully get a sighting..it was a possum. the profiles projected onto shades like a shadow puppet is just like a rat.

i let it go in peace..they eat grubs in my lawn..i hate grubs.

Have not found a snake in my house, but did find snake turds in my house once. Had to use the google to identify what sort of critter dropped the turds, and once I knew it was a snake I looked for it behind/under every piece of furniture but it had vacated the area.

My wife made fun of me the whole time.

when my uncle found one in his house he just left a note for his son, "watch out for the snake"

we have had a problem with cotton mouths and copper heads. been better lately.

my wife rides her bike in the morning and keeps track of people and animals she sees. she has been seeing a lot of copper heads on her route.

I was out at the airport in our hangar when my wife text me about a snake in the back yard. She knew our dachshund was going to be going after it, so she pick it up and move it to the front yard garden.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropidoclonion

It was a Tropidoclonion. Yea, that's what I said, never heard of a Tropidoclonion. It is commonly called a line snake.

It was not in our house, just the back yard.

Our dachshund is a hunter, and has had several mice as snacks, and chased away entire herds of buffalo, elephants and a pack of velociraptors and lions. Or at least is sounded that way from the barking. They are always gone by the time I get out there so I might be mistaken.
