Collected, the Horse Head
This has been here before but this year it got accepted to the Fine Arts Show at the San Diego Fair. I am always happy to get accepted there. It is from a piece of Utah Alabaster and is about 16"x16". I called it "Collected" because the shape of the stone made me tuck the head in like that.

about 16"x16" and over 40 lbs, I just worked with the shape of the stone, the mane is rough, the head had to be tucked in
