Have all ways worn NEW BALANCE.

On the page above the specs say"New Balance Made is a premium collection that contains a domestic value of 70% or greater." So what is domestic parts, not sure that the price justifies the difference from the shoes sold every where at $40.00 to $50.00 usd.

Many of their boots are imports...Pronghorns, for example, now. Not always the case I'm told. $ that's why....

smoke and mirrors. i visited the Danner store in Portland and it was pretty segregated. the domestic side of the house vs..the others.

it's got easy..once i notice the USA boots were way more expensive.

Danner Pronghorns are the only boot i returned..dirty. i stepped out of my truck, hiked..did a uturn and took them off and changed my wet socks. the honeymoon was over before it even started. i didnt even bother to clean them..got the full refund. total disappointment.

I like the look of those Byron. Ever since Costa stopped making the Triple Tail Frame I like I have been looking for a replacement.

Do they last?

Actually, by a masterful craftsman named "slodave". It's not a real '59 Les Paul, but it'll pass.

Ya' those things are great. And when hanger rats chewed up the knobs on two of them (sounds kinky, I know! ), I was mailed replacements before I had even paid for them (was asked to send a check after getting them) - was floored by that, even though the cost was small. The hanger rats disappeared almost immediately after a hanger cat moved in, so no more knob abuse.

These are great, too; made in America (hard to believe, given it is an electronic device, but true) by a small, niche company - expensive, but worth every penny. They are intended to use in home-built, walk in coolers, but being a polar bear that has lived in a climate hell hole for most of my life, I use them to control two window a/c units in my two most used rooms (this is in conjunction with my central a/c). In addition to being an ingenious and simple to install and operate device, the small company's customer service is really something else (including help with choosing appropriately sized, and high quality window a/c units for your specific application).

The cocoa mats may be "made in usa" but i doubt that the material is grown here. My parents sell a lot of cocoa fiber door mats and industrial mats, and they have come out of india for the last 35+ years.

My Hein Werner floor jack in the garage is Made in the USA. The thing is a pleasure to use. As far as I know, only Hein Werner and Milwaukee Hydraulic are Made in the USA anymore. Even Snap On's floor jacks are Made in China.

I have some furniture from Room and Board as well. I like the styling, and the fact that almost all their stuff is made domestically.
