Thousands of RV and skoolie folks have arrived in Quartzite AZ for the snowbird season.
They are all so happy to be there in 70 degree weather.
$40 permit to live in the nearby desert for a month at a time.
Rocks, Gems and Guns being sold in the big tent.
Hundreds of craft folks rent a space to sell their wares and make a years worth of wages.
Biggest gathering of Hippies in the country, nightly drum circles, jam sessions and camp fire gatherings, its quite the scene.

A friend on vacation called me from the Ft. Myers area. It may hit 60 today, supposed to be cold until the weekend. It was in the 80’s last weekend.

85F + here in SoCal, the "devil winds" are doing their thing. Next week more of the same.

The central valley of California has had record days of dense fog, 60 car pile up yesterday, go figure.

Racing @ Buttonwillow Raceway is held up till noon each day because of the fog.

Florida has had some crazy weather.
We had some cold weather a week or two ago, but the forecast is for it to be in the 80s for the next week. The mornings have been in the mid 40s.

All the snow is melted, except the remains of the huge snow piles from plowing the parking lots at businesses, schools and churches. It made it to 69 yesterday and is supposed to be in the high 60s for a couple of days and then get into the low 70s for a few days over the weekend.

I am glad I don't have to shovel sunshine!

Amen to that! We got a bit of snow on the surrounding mountains last week and it's still there. But I'm loving the weather in our valley...we're getting up into the 70s today.

I love Southern Arizona so much.
