The Antarctic is the south pole so it has no effect on the opening of the NW passage due to rapidly receding arctic sea ice. A volcanic eruption under the southern ice sheet may have a disrupting effect on global sea levels.

I'm ambivalent about Trump. A spoiled rich kid who is VERY good at gamesmanship as far as I am concerned.

I find the constant drum beat that he's a failure tiresome. I find the constant claims that he is stupid tiresome.

He is effective. That can't be denied but that doesn't mean you have to like him.

He's certainly a buffoon but I like him because he stands up for the US and consequently The West.

The world is far from perfect but imagine it without a strong US!

With the Trump Recession coming soon and the Trade War going poorly, it's probably better to not buy Greenland and save the money to fund this year's $1 Trillion deficit.
