Ever since Nine Inch Nails The Perfect Drug I've had a thing for absinthe. IIRC it used to be completely illegal in the US, now it looks like you can buy it.

Friday night might be a fun shopping and drinks at her place night with my old fashioned date.

My nephew had some absinthe. I can't imagine he would have been able to lay his hands on it if it were illegal.

I don't like the distilled stuff with food as much as wine. Apertif maybe, but not with the meal

I got one of these horse/cork barrel spar displays at the eagle trace distillery several years ago when blanton's was pretty easy to find around here. Mine is half empty since I rarely see it for sale anymore.
