First deer of the year a bit later than normal
Got back from our trip out west to CO and UT in our new to us RV and hit the woods to get some meat into the freezer. Got this nice 8 point this morning with the crossbow. Would like to get at least one more, that should do it for this year.

What’s the effective range of a hunting crossbow on big game? I haven’t bowhunted in years, but when I did, 40 yards was my personal limit- beyond that I didn’t trust I could put the arrow where I needed to for a humane shot.
