The last time I needed to move something heavy (vertical milling machine- 600lbs) I put an engine hoist in the back of my F150, drove to the pickup site and lifted the mill into the truck bed. When I got home, I backed into my shop and used the hoist to set the mill onto a stand I had built. The only hard part was getting the hoist up in the truck. Sometimes you just need to use a machine!

Funny a friend with a 66 sent me a very similar picture - boxes of parts rather than a block. Says it’s the only car that’s running that it’ll all fit in. You can get quite a lot in there for sure.
