Any Word Press experts here?

One of our websites is a Word Press website. Generated by Web.com, we tired of their monthly charges and had them transfer the website from their control to our control and move it to our web.com server.

In the process, something became screwed up. Like web page a template. The main page is fine, but the secondary pages (applications, news, etc.) are not working. The text is OK, but the format is screwed up.

Timing is critical, because we're starting a, hopefully, viral social media campaign.

Send a message via AIM to stomachmonkey
A link to the affected pages would help.

Most likely a css issue

If the site Is responsive for mobile could be any custom scaling was overwritten

Kinda depends on how they moved it, couple ways to do it, if they did a fresh base install and imported the original site this could happen

I’m out of pocket today, college tour with Conner

I agree with stomachmonkey that it depends on how the provider 'moved' the site. If it was granting you access to the installation, then it may have been broken all along but you would have never known.

It could also be a recent WP update - updating WP Core has been known to sometimes break editors and layouts with themes that are not up-to-date as well. If you want to send me a PM with the info I can take a look and see.

Could be many things, I would suspect you were using a Theme template in their site which isn't in yours. The other could be plugins.

Turned out to be a database issue. I used "Upwork" and found someone who could fix it. Done in 40 minutes...

And then I changed all of the passwords...and deleted the temporary user name.
