Thanks, Bob, that certainly clarifies what really happened here. In my eyes, this sequence of events is even more maddening than the notion that this young man lost his life "over a can of lighter fluid". It appears the real culprit is our revolving door criminal "justice" system. For the life of me, I cannot understand how a man like the suspect in this case could be out there wandering freely among us after all that preceded this incident. He is clearly unstable, and violently so. He had proven that on a couple of occasions. Just what "right" did he have to be set free, with the authorities knowing full well that they were releasing a violent, paranoid man? And now our molly-coddling of all things criminal has led, at least indirectly, to the death of this young trooper. Unbelievable.

It looks like they are going to go after this guy with everything they have - aggravated first degree murder. He'll be eligible for the death penalty.
