Why not use what you have and order a ZDDP additive from Amazon?

Exactly.

When I was a kid, at a "Bug-in" there was a raffle bet thing on how long an engine would run on a stand, at full throttle with no oil. after 8 min's it started to look ugly, getting worse until the 13 min mark, where.... it ran out of gas. :-/ And someone thought add gas and to try to restart the thing. (no turn)

Valid point. Any oil that goes into the car nowadays is far better than what it saw during its prime.
