Separate from the horse puns I drove a nice '98 Boxster once and only once and it seemed perfect. Not really faster than my 81 911 but the same experience. Boxster S would be spiffier.

I had an 08 base Tip and I really liked it. Steering response was fantastic, ride was supple and it had some giddyup! I think it is more dd friendly, but I missed my air cooled cars.
