And here is a 28’ pursuit that is close.
https://fortmyers.craigslist.org/chl/boa/d/bokeelia-pursuit-2870-cc/7097959165.html

I’m just busy on the house now. I have plumbers coming next week to repipe the house and move some toilets. I’m also moving a shower. I hired a carpenter to help, but he’s only put in 12 hours in the last two weeks, so I guess it’s just me now.

I’ll use the boat to go fishing primarily, with accationally taking the kids and grandkids out to the beach.

I have a few friends pushing the walk around, or express type boats, but my wife is never going to spend the night on the boat. So I’m thinking it takes up to much room, and it adds weight.

So far I’m looking at Pursuit, Grady White, and Intrepids. Along with a few others.

It will probably be a couple of month getting the new lift and dock built. And of coarse were suppose to stay at home, so no looking at the moment.

So any opinions? Things to look out for? Are boat prices going to drop in the next few months? Is my budget out of line?

I put a deposit down on a 32’ Intrepid today. If the survey comes back good I guess I bought a boat.

After fishing with my friend in his very comfortable, but slow boat, I wanted something faster.

Congrats on the boat. I had a 25 ft Cobalt, was happy the day I bought it, but much happier the day I sold it.

Nice congrats! Nothing worse than an underpowered boat. I just put a different prop on mine to improve the hole shot and time to plane, but what it really needs is a big block.

Looks like a high speed fishing machine, nice find.
Is the door in the bow opening into a head?

It's good that you found your boat before building the hoist. They should be able to make a good fit for it.
Can you build a roof over the boat hoist?

Cheers Richard

Aerospace 303 is an amazing product for vinyl and plastic, it has UV protectant that helps preserve surfaces in the sun. Also I had my boat ceramic coated with Glidecoat and have been very happy, water scum and dirt doesn’t seem to stick and it should do a better job of holding up than traditional wax.

Problem with 303 is once you start you have to keep applying it

that boat is badass. can you give us an overall picture? stand back. i know very little about ocean fishing boats.

does it have a section of the Gunwale that is removable so you can slide a big tuna thru an opening? or will you need to hork it over the sides into the boat?
