I spent some of mine today. We went to a breakfast place and got take out breakfast. It was $17 bucks for the food, and I tipped 15 bucks cash and asked her to please split it with all the employees.

If you are "married filing jointly" they one send money to one account. The same account any taxes are paid from or refunds received. So only I suspect 1/2 that money is yours.

That means that you both got paid. It's $1200 per adult.

If you use direct deposit for previous tax refunds, then they use that account information for the deposit.

Just an FYI, not sure if this is for everyone but a friend mentioned to me that he did not get anything so he logged on to see why and they said they didnt have his account info even though he paid through direct deposit, so I went on and checked too and mine said the same thing, no account info even though I use direct deposit every year.

Not sure if it's because I always owe money and never get any, but everyone should log on and check to make sure even if you use direct deposit every year.

Says "Payment status not Available" for me. Looking at their FAQ, only thing that applies to me is I get VA payments, so that's apparently holding things up.
