Looking long term, I bought a little patch of good farm land. The Lord ain't gonna make no more dirt, and corn and wheat are a lot tastier than oil, computing services, or cars.

Already avoided about $1800 down in the past hour, and bought in the mid 250s. Blind squirrel found a nut.

I don't have the goanies to be playing individual stocks right now except for a couple of oil stocks that have done very well, like 50% up well. Risky but paid off. Mentioned them a few weeks ago in a whole nuther thread.
It's easy when it's easy.

I think we're due for a correction this week but long-term I'd be a fool to watch the stair-climb over the next 12 months from the sidelines.

And that's worth every penny you paid for it ;)

Just had order filled for 1800 shares VUG @ 178.21
rolled the dice.

Sold SPY @292.5, its at 278.65 now.

VUG was at 186.5, now it's 178.
Doesn't matter if it keeps going down but I'm betting it won't.

It is a lot more difficult since a certain poster quit giving stock advice here. He was the perfect contrarian indicator. Take the exact opposite position and score every time.

I've been out of equities for the most part except for one single stock for some time now...but it wasn't chump change (for me anyways)....it's skyrocketed since I sold....but I'd still be down bigly wiggly....

My tip of the day: Don't trade yer Apples for Canadian Pot ;)....

I just threw a random dart with my pick...a pure WAG gamble....and I lost.

Prolly gonna add to the VUG pile by mid-next week.
Did I mention I really like that one?

Easy stuff is easy when it's easy.
But when it gets hard it isn't easy anymore.
