Hey Sammy...should I quit now?

I get all my investment advice here

I can always bundle it with my 1500 shares of Enron...but this one's been 50x more painful...

Don't play if ya can't afford to lose...

So let it ride ...

If you guys had taken my advice back in late March when Masi was at $155 you would have made a few scheckles.

It’s at $250 today.

Lots of scuttle about the market being over-bought.
I put in an order this morning

Sell 1,057 Shares of SPY at Market (Day) Filled at $292.4998
Already avoided about $1800 down in the past hour, and bought in the mid 250s. Blind squirrel found a nut.

I plan to buy more VUG very soon, gonna wait a few days. I really like VUG but timing is important. It;s heavy into Microsoft and apple, hard to go wrong there.

Buy on the dip. I have about 700 shares of VUG now and will prolly increase that 4x by Thursday to catch the Friday bump. Depends on how far it drops today and tomorrow.

I've been doing lots of ETF stuff, mostly large-cap growth and have done well. Almost too good lately.
I don't have the goanies to be playing individual stocks right now except for a couple of oil stocks that have done very well, like 50% up well. Risky but paid off. Mentioned them a few weeks ago in a whole nuther thread.
It's easy when it's easy.

I think we're due for a correction this week but long-term I'd be a fool to watch the stair-climb over the next 12 months from the sidelines.

And that's worth every penny you paid for it

A buddy was bragging about how well he's done with CLIX, just starting to check it out it. looks like it's true but that ship might have sailed short-term, it's all about volatility. hind-sight.

To demonstrate my fantastic skill in all things financial I had my business and personal income taxes don by early March. My CPA told me I needed the deduction of a maximum personal IRA at the maximum amount. All my other IRAs had been converted Roth and I can't add to those. So I started a new IRA for 7K. Then just days later the Kung Flu hit and the market started dropping. Great investment indeed, just watch my money go away.

At least I got a refund, and my free government cheese was direct deposited long ago.

I am in it for long term, so it will come back.

The market is asking ...what if the FED doesn't go negative rates?
What if the gubmint doesn't keep bailing everyone out?
What if we have to face reality?

IOW it's waking up. Real estate and financials are scary right now, that could be bad.

Question is, how deep will this correction go?
Will it drop 2000+ points on the dow as some are suggesting? Or will it be nothing more than a 2% temporary blip on the upward momentum?

I already said what I think but I've been wrong plenty of times before.
Whatsayu?

Believe it or not, that benefits me financially. Kinda like an insurance policy.

But I still think the gubmint locking stuff down is wrong.

What, did you bust out the Wife's Singer sewing machine and started masking masks at home while watching "The View"?
