I had one of those in my first car back in the 70s.

I had the cassette version which I put in the glove box of my '66 VW and then moved to my 2002.

The prices for these things on line are amazing.

I had a Pioneer cassette, a FM converter (sent a signal to an AM channel) AND Craig 20 Watts Amplifier! Put a pair of cheap bookshelf house speakers on the back deck behind the rear seat to handle the 'massive power'.

Hey, that's my truck. It's a 1968 D100 Custom with 63,000 original miles, original everything, certicard, and even has the original spare tire under the bed. It was parked at our place on Lake Martin and we had the only tree to fall on the whole point. My Pawpaw bought the truck band spanking new in May of 1968 and it didnt have a dent on it until that damn tree fell on it. I have her at my house now and doing the best I can to remove the dents in the cab. Oh yeah, she still runs and drives, old Mopars never die!!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...5f9d84aa82.jpg

My dad was clearing out an old closet at my grandparent's place while back and found some unopened cars from when I was a kid. These were the neat ones. Pretty cool little time capsule. Getting ready to put them on Ebay for some collector to give them a good home.

You haven't lived until you've had one of those shifter handles finished in black velvet. Of course, the velvet came off fairly quickly.

My imagination is filling that portion of the pic in with something like this. It's probably both of them in bikinis rubbing mud on each other.

I had that 928 as a kid !

IF I remember correctly it eventually met it's demise in a fiery crash
eg, glue inside, light it up , make it crash into another innocent car

Original photo above is an unfortunate Photoshop victim. WAY to much color saturation to look real. Nice photo, but not to my taste. The original may well be fine, but someone learned about the color saturation slider in Photoshop and went nuts. Just my opinion, others have said I was wrong in the past, but I think they are wrong.

There is no way to post edit it to get back to total realistic, but this is likely closer to reality. Still a pretty picture.

Sorry I didn't mean to steal your pic. I saw it in the DL folder and thought it useful for others.

Sorry that the freak accident happened to that fine truck.
I hope it was salvageable...keep us updated.

I've got a buddy that's gotten really into model railroad stuff. he's been buying trains like mad. I think he may do multiple scales, but I'm not sure. He's wanting to start a youtube channel.

I told him he had to wear a train engineer costume.

I don't think he's going to do it, which is probably a huge mistake.
