I drove an ex-county sheriff investigator's '84 LTD II for several years. Bought it from one of the guys who worked in the motor pool and maintained it then snagged it from the county auction after they were done with it (165K miles).
5.0L, throttle body injection, cop shocks, cop suspension... you know the drill. My sons were impressed when I brought home a $1600 car with a 160 MPH speedometer. Not a bad car. Fond memories.
