I was in a Walmart in rural Arkansas when I noticed that even there the salon was run by energetic Vietnamese women. When I mentioned it to my daughter, she told me it was all due to (some old actress lol named) Tippi Hedren. When I got home I looked it up, and it's all true. What a way to be a good human!

Way back in 1979 I was moving to a new duplex, driving my 914 with a final load of a few items. At a stop light a HOT chick pulled up next to me in her Mercedes 450. I knew in a second she was way out of my league and likely some rich, lucky dude's trophy wife.

I had my my AT&T wall mounted land line in the car, so I picked up the receiver and had a phantom conversation. I always wondered if that hottie went home and asked for a telephone in her car like the guy in the cute little sports car had.
