These are knife grinders in France, circa 1902. They worked lying down to save their backs and had dogs sit on their legs for warmth.

I saw that pic someplace earlier this year. I thought it was pretty cool, and like the detail about the dogs. I think your neck would be sore for several weeks after you started that job in that position.

(and cool eclipse last night - I staggered out at 0200 and it would have been a good composition in Taurus were I awake enough to lug out the camera and tripod. So I took a brain-picture at least.
