In Oklahoma. It is somehow really satisfying cruising past a State Trooper running radar while rolling along at 80. I certainly remember the bad old days of 55 MPH national speed limit. Going 80 was get handcuffed and go to jail speeds back then.

I drove I-40 through Oklahoma heading to Arizona in late December. When I saw 80 mph it was like wow I can legally go this fast?

I remember hearing a comedian several years back talking about getting pulled over for speeding in some midwest state. The guy was freaking out, and then the cop told him, "you can pay now." The guy asked "how much," and the cop told him "$5". He said he had the urge to hand him a $20 and tell him he was paying ahead for speeding through the rest of the state.

Most of the driving that I do is on roads where the SL is 75mph. I usually set me cruise at 83mph, although out of curiosity, I did once set it (briefly) at 127, and it worked.

The ZiS-E134, a beast of a truck that could quite literally go anywhere. It was an 8×8 with four-wheel steering, adjustable tire pressures and incredible traction. Not much says America more than one of our 572 Imposter series Big Blocks. This engine is designed to have the look, sound, and feel of a methanol dragster but was designed from the ground up to be able to drive around city streets and wake up the neighbors. The throttle response on this thing is insane, and the overdriven idle will have you dancing in the car. The last Imposter we built ran 8.0 in the quarter-mile yet is docile enough to go to the burger joint.

they look like some sort of rivet. Put them through a hole and beat the side with no head until it mushrooms enough to stay in place.
