https://www.txdot.gov/safety/driving...130-banner.png I remember hearing a comedian several years back talking about getting pulled over for speeding in some midwest state. The guy was freaking out, and then the cop told him, "you can pay now." The guy asked "how much," and the cop told him "$5". He said he had the urge to hand him a $20 and tell him he was paying ahead for speeding through the rest of the state. Most of the driving that I do is on roads where the SL is 75mph. I usually set me cruise at 83mph, although out of curiosity, I did once set it (briefly) at 127, and it worked. |

For those that let balloons go for celebrations or ceremonies, while the sentiment is sweet as are the intentions. The balloons don't actually go to heaven, instead they land in our fields or in our waterways or in forests, for curious animals to choke on. They never biodegrade and never go away." (c) S. I have to tell you, if I ever needed a lawyer, I'd probably avoid any lawyer that has billboards, but I'd almost be willing to check these guys out.

Yea, this is just an AI image, but how cool would that be to get dad to take the baby out for a "walk" http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709733852.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709733852.jpg The ZiS-E134, a beast of a truck that could quite literally go anywhere. It was an 8×8 with four-wheel steering, adjustable tire pressures and incredible traction. It proved its worth even against the Russian rasputitsa, and an amphibious version covered water-based activities. https://militaryhistoria.com/zis-e134-8x8-truck/ http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709733852.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1709733852.jpg An early 1950's set of 78 rpm records. This engine is designed to have the look, sound, and feel of a methanol dragster but was designed from the ground up to be able to drive around city streets and wake up the neighbors. The throttle response on this thing is insane, and the overdriven idle will have you dancing in the car. The last Imposter we built ran 8.0 in the quarter-mile yet is docile enough to go to the burger joint. |
