I’d forgotten how steep and narrow the old bridge was in Charleston. The first time I went over it, it was at night and in the rain. Definitely was not a fun time.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1742647265.jpg NYC, 1939. Margaret Bourke-White captured this stunning view of the only Douglas DC-4E ever produced. The aircraft’s unusual tail had three vertical stabilizers. Bourke-White shot the photo from a small plane. Her apartment was in the Chrysler Building, shown immediately left of the airplane. Her 1936 photo of Fort Peck Dam in Northeast Montana graced the cover of the inaugural issue of Life Magazine. Bourke-White would later become the first American female photojournalist to work in combat zones during World War II. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1742647265.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1742647265.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1742647265.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1742647265.jpg |
