So, let me get this straight. 150 hp 911 with headers , m@k muffler , or megaphones, mfi so rich, itll make your eyes water, loud as hell, no real purpose in life, other than for some rich dude to have fun in cool.
Modified diesel , that some working stiff uses to haul concrete, or an excavator . Maybe pull his boat, camper or race car trailer , not cool O.k, got it. Eat my smoke yuppie scum .

Fred with all due respect I think there is a difference between the rolling coal mentality vs. the hard working folks you mentioned. I don't think most of those hard working folks go out of their way to roll coal on people walking on the sidewalk or riding their bikes .
I do agree with you there should be no hypocritical double standard between a modified Porsche or a diesel pickup . |

I'm willing to bet a good bunch of you would change your tune if you ever got to row through the gears in a noisy old hopped up cummins with a load behind you .
I was never a truck guy, but have lived rural for 25 years now, and it is culture here. Some of these rigs are just simply bad ass. Lifted brodozer or not . I know a ton of guys with hopped up diesel trucks. None of them are flying confederate flags and rolling coal on cyclists . Most of these guys are diesel mechanics, truckers, in some sort of construction, or haul race cars, campers etc... Is it wrong to like big powerful trucks ? Don't be too judgemental the next time one rolls by you at Lowe's. Here is your typical ratty Pa brodozer . https://www.facebook.com/fred.grosshaupt/videos/3454260691303875/?t=15. he daily drives a camry, and his wife a crv. She a sucessful business owner, and he is in medical sales. I've never even seen the guy not wearing a suit. They haul their camper with this truck on the weekends. Mild tune, all deletes, 4 inch turbo back with turbo style muffler. Real knuckle draggers make sure to hate on him because he is into something different than you .

A local guy here had a Chevy with a tune to about 650hp. I never saw any smoke out of the exhaust when he got on it. Another from a few years ago had a reworked DODGE Ram 2500 that would regularly embarrass pony cars of the day and you would never know it by the exhaust.

I have noticed on the truck FB groups/forums we call that the "Fag Sag", or Caroline Squat. It looks absolutely retarded (no offense to retards intended).

I have diesel envy when towing something truly heavy like a 'dozer on my trailer. Other than that, I could not care any less about them. It seems like too much trouble messing with the Blue Def, or other EPA stuff.

I love my diesel F250, and it pulls my boat way better than my heavily modified F150 Ecoboost ever could. Honestly nicer to drive too, a diesel is just such a perfect fit for a truck.

I don't have an issue with them other than when they roll coal just to roll coal like in the picture above.

Many true comments on the EPA cracking down on shops deleting emissions equipment and selling the tuners to make the trucks run without it. Also, the new trucks are getting to high HP numbers with emissions equipment which is super cool.
I do have a pre emissions truck that will “roll coal” if I stand on it before the turbo lights. It can easily be used to fend off d-bag tailgaters. And like FastFreddy said, there’s nothing like an 8k lb truck making 600+ HP hauling the mail! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Modify a diesel so it tows better or gets better fuel mileage makes perfect sense . Modify a diesel just so you can pour out black smoke is just stupid ........... in my opinion . And just to reiterate I own a diesel pickup .

Back then, so many of the places to get diesel fuel were truck stops. The fuel comes out of the nozzle like a rocket. The ground was sticky with stinky fuel. I had to have my wife pull the car forward, and so I could take of the rubber gloves, and walk around long enough to wear the fuel off of my shoes. The good news is with the fuel mileage, we only needed fuel every 500 miles.
