Flat - the games are on NBCSN

The Caps - they looked terrible: either mentally or physically defeated. Never showed up for the final game and went down in flames.

The Habs - far be it for me to compliment the Habs but they played a good game. If it weren't for Price, they would have been finished in 5 but the better team won.

Guess my Blues decided that winning the cup last season was enough to satisfy them for this year. They haven't even showed up since play resumed.

In the West I am holding to Vegas and Avs easily going to the Conference final.

So as things go, I am pretty happy to see Cindy C, the Habs, and St Louis (only because they took the cup from the Bs last year) all gone. I bet the Caps miss Trots.

Caps fans absolutely do. And word is the locker room is not responding to Rierden’s message anymore. Caps ownership and Trotz agreed on a Stanley Cup raise during the 2018 if he took them all the way. He did, and then he greatly upped what he had previously agreed to. That may have been his way of telling them to piss off if he had felt disrespected, and ownership said “nope.” Unfortunate all the way around. The players miss him.

Canucks have definitely upped their game.
Markstrom is solid. the kids are fast, great stick work, great coaching.
gonna be an interesting match-up with Vegas. fast and furious.

St. Louis looked terrible, error prone and bad goaltending is a bad combo in the playoffs.

Vegas will be a real challenge for them.

Anyone want to make predictions? Now that we've seen some real games we know where the teams are at. If you ain't got an elite goalie, you are toast. Next, momentum is huge during playoffs. Those two point to the Flyers.

I don't think they will do well against Vegas, if they defeat Vegas iI will be impressed. As of now St. Louis played poorly.
