I got 3 nintendo 3ds systems from my neighbor so iv been playing the games on them and getting some new ones. I played zelda minish cap now adventure time jake investigations and mario 3d world. Ad iv got batman, ocarina of time and luigis mansion to do

I play solitaire, block sorting, and rope untangling games on my phone. I used to play a civilization building game on my computer, but they don't make it for Mac anymore. I tried to play Minecraft but got hopelessly lost.

Sniper Ghost warrior contracts 2. Shooter, but the sniper stuff from a mile away is great, and gruesome as hell (enough for me not to post it here), which oddly relaxes me after a bad meeting at work (should I worry? ;-)

And Sturmovik IL2 - amazing (and hard) WW2 Flight sim - flying the Typhoon against the germans or the FW 190 Dora against the brits, fantastically well done. You can click every cockpit button and go as realistic as you wish with engine management, or not. Superb flight model and gunnery

Always wanted to play snowrunner but I thought it was only on PC and im not equipped for that. I stumbled on it at the game store for ps5 so I borrowed my brothers system and away we go. Iv been playing it for 15 hours the past two days lol so addictive iv never played a game so much atleast since gran turismo 3

I only play Real Racing 3 on my phone but they are shutting the game down after something like 13 years!!! I've been playing the game for at least 12 years. You are supposed to be able to play it until March when the servers will be shut down but I haven't been able to get the game to load up for several days now. Adios RR3 it has been fun. I guess I will download Galaga now.

I have casually been playing video games since 1995. I mostly prefer WWII flight games and ground combat. I have played many, most notably Air Warrior, Warbirds, Aces High, IL2 Sturmovik, War Thunder, and a couple of others, of which I can’t recall the names.

In the ground combat genre, Day of Defeat (both iterations), Americas Army, Battlefield series (from the original), Call of Duty series (also from the original), Enlisted, and a sprinkling of other games.

I have also done my fair share of driving games. Many I do not recall, but I played NASCAR and NASCAR 2003 and GT Legends a lot. Back when I was racing, I used GTL to prepare for tracks that I was going to run. This was before I-Racing was a thing…at least not the behemoth it is today.

Mind you I did this all after work and home chores were done. This kids were asleep. This was my downtime. I enjoy being and working outside and maintaining physical fitness. Until I retired from the Army in 2012, I did the Army Physical Fitness Test (adding 4 miles to the run) 6 days a week. At 65 my Doctor has me as being in better condition than most men in their early 50’s.

I enjoy my time gaming and it has not had a detrimental effect on my physical health. I still travel and hike and do shooting competitions around the U.S. , not to mention the 5 matches I do monthly.

For a game that should be boring, the series (Spintire, Mudrunner, Snowrunner) is actually pretty fun. Even more fun coop with the kids. Boy takes a Wrangler to scout out and recover my sorry butt.

2008 COD World at War.

I put it on the next level up from wimp mode and made it thru the campaign. I remember the AC130 Spooky. That was so "real" to me back then. Nazi Zombies was the t*ts.

My question is should I get a new X-box/Play Station and start it up again at 69 years old or get a used one and just stay with that game?

Still at it at 63 - plan to keep going - have an XBOX and there have been many studies about gaming and the benefits of gaming in older folks - cognitive - and dexterity

I have so many games across my OG Xbox, Xbox One, and Xbox X that I can’t keep track and so many just plain suck. I’ve cleared off my Xbox X and loaded only my favorite Call of Duties and play random missions on random difficulty levels. I only play campaigns, single player. Currently daily playing Modern Warfare 2019, MW II, MW III, COD 4 Modern Warfare, MW2, MW3, Black Ops II and III. COD Ghosts, COD Advanced Warfare. Ultimately, for me COD greatness comes down to game mechanics on an MS Elite controller and modern weapons. The most recent COD are way way better to play than even then OG Moderne Warfare series. Except, I hated Black Ops 6 despite how great the mechanics are because of so many frustrating and tedious missions

I finally completed Battlefield 6. It had some great moments but the mechanics did not feel great to me, especially the aim assist when compared to more recent COD games.

Unfortunately Black Ops 7 looks like crap.

Not really a gamer but in the last decade I've been addicted to:
1. Titanfall 1st release. I used to slay everyone. Pretty much a dead game as of years ago
2. Later versions of COD singleplayer
3. mASS Effect.

Otherwise the xbox collects dust.

My interest in my Xbox came back alive when I got the first gen Elite controller a decade ago. Being able to have the A-B-X-Y keys assigned to the underneath buttons at your finger tips is a zillion times better than using the right thumb. Huge difference. I have Gen 1 and 2 now. Neither has ever failed me and so comfortable. Worth every penny

interesting. never knew this was such a big thing among this crew.

me..nope. last game I played was early 1999 and a PS2..the character was Snake something. gave the device away to some neighborhood kids and never took it up again.

my BIL gets fully engaged.. no thanks.

No they don’t suck. What sucks is the games on all platforms.

There are few games that come out that bring the excitement that Halo or COD 4 MW brought when they came out.

Out of maybe 100 games, there are 10 that I still enjoy. I stopped playing online multiplayer years ago. (Battlefield 1). The pace and feel online is not fun to me. I only like first person shooter games, slowly playing through the campaigns. Otherwise, I play my full size Ms Pac-Man, Galaga/Galaxian.

I would love to build a great race simulator

I am looking forward to Hell Let Loose : Vietnam being released.

I have my original Atari 2600 with about 30 games from when I was 8 hooked up to one of my TVs. Gotta admit, I do not enjoy playing these except Donkey Kong was ok on Atari 2600.
