History of the world as written by students.

Wow, this is some funny stuff, it would be hard to make it up. I have been having fun and cleaning out the closet in my home office. For an encore of fun I my set my hair on fire. I have found some treasures, and a lot of crap that is now on the way to the landfill. I have no idea where this gem came from, it is hand typed so who knows.

I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes while reading it. This is simply hysterical.

I've read that around the internet a few times.

My Favorites are

Sir Francis Drake Circumcised the world in a 100 foot clipper

Franklin died in 1790 and is still dead

Lincoln signed the emasculation proclamation

That's pure comedy gold, Jerry!

I remember reading this when I was younger. It turns out there's good news and bad news in there. The bad news is that the author was a professor at St. Paul's prep, which is considered one of the top prep schools in the country. So if it happened to him, what hope is there for the rest of us? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Paul%27s_School_(New_Hampshire)

The good news is that this is a compilation he collected from teachers around the country, not just students from his tony school. So that means . . . the kids who wrote this, um, alternate history are spread throughout the country and have long been adults. In other words, they're all around us and have been in the workforce for years.

Fortunately the country has survived. I guess that's the real good news.

I'm with the kids over this. My philosophies are it's better to try and be wrong than do (answer) nothing because you're not completely sure.

Sure is funny.

And I sure wouldn't want to be circumcised by Sir Francis Drake.
