My wife’s old $500 944 years ago. Needed a bunch of work so I bought it and fixed it up…clutch, timing / balance belts, water pump, shocks, etc (spent about $750 for parts) and gave it to her for Christmas. She drove it to work every day for about a year, then complained that there was 27 stop lights between home and work. I got her an automatic A6 Quattro and the 944 sat around so much we sold it. VA had CHEAP personalized plates and everybody had them.

This one was a lucky coincidence. Period plate from Ebay. Porsche did have a 965, a prototype from 1984. This is on a 1983 SC with a 3.2 transplant.
