 As mentioned by others, it's super convenient -- and probably helps with safety -- to operate a fleet of common vehicles. Just choose wisely  .

My son's FJ is not in the picture, nor is my Tundra
  If he also uses the truck for his business, he can write off a percentage of the truck and mileage. I keep a wheel book in my truck and log every drive: Date, purpose, mileage out, mileage in, farm use, personal use or both, then assign a percentage.
