So many great movies by DW, this is our family favorite. Of course the young Dakota Fanning was awesome in the backup role. Some very real actor chemistry on screen there.

Training Day is one of the best movies i've seen love it.

Flight was intense.

Book of Eli is great.

One i haven't seen mentioned here but is excellent is Fallen.

Outside of these i do like him but the scripts fall well short of being great. Better than made for tv but not seriously good. And i think his acting is a part of it.

John Goodman is an excellent supporting actor in Denzel's movies. Very under-rated.

I thought he was good in Atomic Blond also.

i thought he was a pretty big part of what made Fallen so good.

My friend Johnny G wrote that script, it was original, (not an adaptation of anything). He put a lot of our buddies in the film in small parts, I could have gotten in on it if I wanted. It was pretty good but I had a hard time making it through all the way for some reason.

My favorite Denzel Washington film by far is, "He Got Game." He plays a scumbag like no one else. He's amazing in that and the entire film is great, IMO. :)

And it was a great script. But I was meaning the skills of John Goodman. He stole that scene.

Nope but I enjoyed that movie a lot.

He said this during a speech at a university (2015) and the audience was mostly young Black Americans who were about to graduate. IMHO He was trying to make a point and his words were chosen very carefully to have the maximum impact.

The premise of the movie is interesting - They way "some people" respond to a threat.

And I've seen it happen IRL. I served with guys like that who seemed to have a talent for finding trouble.

I thought Marton Csokas' turn as the Russian Mafia fixer Teddy was one of the best villains ever. Interestingly, he's from New Zealand. I had no idea.

I saw there's an Equilizer 3 coming around fall of 2023 and will feature Denzel's co-star from Man on Fire Dakota Fanning. Look forward to it.

Watched 2003's "Out of Time" last night on cable (Ovation). As always Denzel was great! Also Sanaa Lathan and Eva Mendes were smokin' hawt!
