One of the best Pelicans of all time and my close friend MMarsh is very ill with Covid19. It is a sudden development and very serious and even though my faith is spotty, I believe in the power of prayer in these instances. Let’s put our all into it.

He is a cop and a combat veteran who is thisclose to retirement and for sure got it at work, keeping the rest of us safe. He has a wife and two daughters who adore him, plus me and pretty much everyone else who knows him. He’s that great of a guy. Thanks in advance.

My faith is spotty, too, but all love and thoughts for MMARSH to beat this and enjoy many fine years of retirement!

My whole family got it in January, hope he ends up the way we have.

Thought I recognized the username. He was talking about what happened in one of the vaccine threads. Hopefully his doctors will give him the full court press and he'll be fine.

You are, however, one of the very, very few on this forum for whom I have gained respect. You are a good man, Michael, a very good man. One of the best. You are in my prayers. You will get through this, just as you have prevailed throughout your entire life. You have people who love you. People who are counting on you. You are not through here yet... Hang in there...

We ask for your healing mercies for our brother. We have faith that you can bring him through this if it aligns with your will for Michael. I pray for wisdom and the decision making of his caregivers. I pray for peace and comfort for him and his family. I pray that his faith in You would be strengthened and he would be healed for all time with the saving knowledge of Your Son Jesus. Amen.

Mine is similar in meaning but less poetic? It sounds more like a Lynyrd Skynyrd song: “I know you don’t owe me but I wish you would let me ask one favor of you...” :)
