There's a used car dealer here that has a bunch of those Mini Mokes on the lot.

Gas or electric? What is the name of the dealer? |

Those were great years when for under $20k you could own, build, drive, experience and sell for a profit many interesting cars. I've had an 85 El Camino and an 86 911 along with many trucks, muscle cars, sports cars, drag cars and road race cars. To consider myself a car guy but own only 2 cars for 50 years, for a normal car guy that would be like taking an oath of celibacy. Count me out. :D <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BwH__x6jV6A" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
Agree watched them on track when they were featured at the Monterey Historics back around 2010.
Closest I could afford were a couple of Corvettes. Quote:

That's actually a really tough question, to pick just 1.
I guess maybe the list below in the order below, but do I get a chance to test drive each one first. How can I be expected to know which one I like the best without ever having driven any of them. McLaren F1 CGT Ruf Yellow Bird '79 930 mild mods '73 RS Dauer 962 Porsche 550 Ferrari 250 GT SWB '60s Ford GT40 Miura Singer |
I would say my Lotus is about as perfect as I can hope for. My husband on the other hand would say either a Renault R5 Turbo or Lancia Stratos:

A Bristol Fighter would do me, but failing that I would be happy with a 968 Turbo, and for evening use, a Bristol 411 series IV.

I just checked their web site. They are the electric (LSV) ones. I am getting older, and slower, but I would still (occasionally) like to go faster than 25 mph. |

I pass by them all the time, never realized they are electric. I've only seen the gas ones on tv. Electric wouldnt cut it for me either. These are my other two dream"vehicles". http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1614660854.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1614661008.jpg |

My first thought to answer this question goes straight to Pagani.
It would simply be a question of which one. https://d3lp4xedbqa8a5.cloudfront.ne...-sale-news.jpg https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/ima...or-grabs_5.jpg https://moto.rp.pl/wp-content/upload...archetta-5.jpg |
You guys are probably going to think this is nuts...but a Cadillac CTSV Wagon with a proper manual transmission...
I'll haul azz, grass, cash and pretty much anything else in that - LOL! angela |

Also, I wouldn't mind one of these. Good towing and good speed! https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod...1614615507.jpg |
Custom convertible/targa Lancia Stratos with removable top like a Fiat X-1/9.
