We all know MadCorgi has a history of creating new accounts.
- Why wouldn't he create and use more than one?

All he has to do is apologise and ask for another chance. That apology could remain private.

On other forums, (and I wholeheartedly agree with this policy), if someone ever does a "goodbye cruel world" exit and says that they are leaving forever, their posts should all be erased and they should be blocked from their IP address, which is obviously not effective anymore when all someone has to do is google, "how do I hide/mask my IP address?"

Changing the forum rules to a 1000 post minimum before being able to enter PARF would be a good start and harm absolutely no one. It's been suggested multiple times, I don't know what the hesitancy is on the part of whomever is running this place now. Oh yeah, and ban the latest version of the clown.

well stated Denis. as for the ever-spawning troll, I believe the Dirty Knobs have a good descriptive song about him--and the easiest action is to ignore any posts/threads associated with the username.

I think you're missing the point but maybe you're not fully aware of the situation.

Corgi got banned FOR LIFE because of something that happened with a Mod.
- That Mod knows Corgi outside of this forum and they were/are friends.

So IMO if Corgi values that relationship he needs to apologise.

Norm! and Sniper. What a couple of blasts from the past. It is hard to get banned here on PPOT or PARF. You have to work at it to earn a ban.

I disagree with the sentiment that we should let everyone back in and self-filter what we want to see or not. That works with ordinary posters. The problem is that our banned brethren actively went into threads and purposely derailed them and hounded people, following their posts with snarky comments to the point that it made PP no fun for people and they left. There are only a toxic few who do that and they need to stay banned, regardless of their newly adopted persona(s).
