JB, that's frustrating for sure. I stopped using Streamlite for everything except for the Lite Box with lead acid batteries.

I switched to Pelican, with LiIon batteries. Be sure that you insert them correctly, as well as all of the flashlight parts.

I have a Magnetti Marelli flashlight that is "meh", as well as one I think made in Germany. It's a replica of the old Porsche flashlight that used an incandescent bulb. Also sort of "meh". Robust, pro-level flashlights are really hard to find, which is why I stick to Pelican lights. I use the hell out of them and they also make good throwing defensive weapons too.

Even Chinese drop lights (Harbor Freight) suck. Unfocused so no matter which way you aim them they are always glaring at you. Fragile too.

30 years in the biz, will I ever learn ? Heater core on a 13 Jetta GLI. OE core is 280, 3 days out . O o o o reilleys can have one next morning for $80. In the name of progress, I grab the o reilley part.
When I open it , I can see that they have re engineered the flanges where the coolant pipes attach to a much more chineesium style clamp . It looked like it would be difficult to re attach to say the least .
Job pays 6 hours . I fought with the flange clamps for 3 hours under the dash last night . In the name of progress, I would not quit , even though it looked impossible.
I pulled it off, got both clamps seated evenly and tight.
Come in this morning, fill it , pleased to find out it makes great heat again, but a steady drip of coolant out of each flange .
Ill beat book time the second time around .....:mad:
