That seems to be the case in a number of cellphone clips that I've seen, though it'll never be pointed out in the MSM that many of these attackers are Black.

I know, a friend lives there, but was surprised that attacks were even happening there.

been very, very few "hate crimes" in Vancouver, using the USA's definition. maybe 5 or 6? - not that that is in any way acceptable.

Well, its been this double standard for some time now. I bet they will get beat down by black folks if they went out and held signs that say Asian Lives Matters, just like all life matters.

I was just talking to my friend about the time a few years ago when he was jumped. A vagrant hit him over the head from behind with a bar and started choking my buddy. Complete cheap shot. But he was not counting on backup. I got there probably a minutue later and well. Put it this way.....I put the hurt on him with extreme thoroughness then we beat it before the cops showed up. If someone is going to jump an innocent person then they take that risk of needing medical attention.

It is just so illogical to me that it just boggles my mind. How any human brain can connect the Chinese government's actions with the pandemic, to the people walking around on the street in North America is like blaming the German people of today for Hitler.

It has to be mental illness. The perpetrators need harsh penalties of assault and battery with intention to kill. I think "hate crime" is a stupid term, and any and all assaults need the same penalty. And it needs to be harsh. Put a tent city jail up like Sheriff Joe Arpaio ran.

Take future tax refunds or payments to the perps to help fund it.

I remember reading Vancouver property prices went thru the roof largely due to Chinese buying up property for investment. Maybe resentment for pricing locals out of the market?
