If it was anyone else, I'd probably scoff, but in his lifetime Bob has raised a great family of high achievers, worked more overtime than anyone I ever knew, grown a huge vegetable garden every year that I've known him, he surfs (currently teaching two grandkids the art of getting salty), he's a real-deal master falconer raising and selling birds from eggs, recently took up learning Spanish, plays a decent guitar (he even built one from a slab his dad had)....and who knows what else.

This note could have been written by him, because 100 is just a number to this guy.

So to the person who knows what they want when they're 100, I say carry on and enjoy your wonderful life, you cracking human!!!

Well I'll be 76 here shortly and ten years ago I had to sell the 914-6 vintage race car as my legs got numb after 5 or 6 laps at Willow Springs and I remember the last race I did on the final lap I could just barely feel the pedals! So time to make muzzle loaders and sell the car and all it's spares.

You seem so much younger. - even decades younger than you feel.

But not as young as cockerpunk seems.

I did an oil change and valve adjustment on my 85 811 not long ago. With the scissor lift and the slowest mechanic ever (me) it only took me three days. No major hurry as I pay myself by the hour. An hour in the garage is paid for by an hour of driving fun.

68 here. Still working on cars and having fun. Only bad part is, I have to pick my battles. Over do it and a sore shoulder that used to heal in 3 days may take a year. Used to walk all day, now that will kill the knees. I havent stopped doing the things I like, I just do them differently. Power tools help.
