Was at Ohio U that day. We were supposed to have done an academic visit to Kent as part of our architecture curriculum. Needless to say, given the protests against the Cambodian offensive we didn’t make the trip. Students were shot in front of the architecture building.

Later OU was the last school open in Ohio. That made for special memories.

National Guard were just untrained kids with guns.
