I know how fortunate I am. Tall, muscular, athletic, and with a full head of thickish grey/white hair. For decades I kept it 1/2" long. Then I decided to let it grow long thinking that would be easier. It is not. Thinking of returning to the 1/2" strategy.
At work we celebrate men's health with a Movember event where we take our pics clean shaven at the start of the month, then with a beard at the end of the month. My team has won the event three of the last four years. After that, I let it grow, then start cutting it in different shapes, ending in a clean face for summer. Here is me a couple of years ago in the summertime. I have not cut my hair since.
