West Coast car hauling:

I've been meaning to post something here for a while, I've been doing the occasional car hauling job in my spare time during the pandemic. It turns out that there are a lot of people who need a car moved from one location to another, who knew?

I enjoy driving and have a clean record and good insurance plus some references at this point from customers. Of course, I treat the cargo with care and strive to get it to its destination safely. If you know anyone who needs a car hauled up and down the west coast, give me a shout! I may venture further into the interior of the country over the summer.

I hauled a very cool project car up to Santa Cruz last week, it's a '64 Pontiac Grand Prix w factory 4-speed in black original paint:

My trailer has a winch, so non-running projects are no problem. My only real restriction is weight, I can only haul around 4k lbs. on this trailer. I may get a heavier one in the future.

And in case anyone is wondering, both photos show cars that are not yet properly secured, (photos taken immediately after loading). I use 4 heavy recovery straps w/ large ratchets, they are strong but do not scratch whatever they are tied to.

I have a buddy who bought a 914-6 from European Collectibles. He might be interested from there to Spokane. Current enclosed quotes coming in at $2k and up. Shoot me an email or text if interested. Cheers, Jerry

Do you have special insurance to do this?
I've thought of 'borrowing' my brother's dually diesel and trailer to do this.
