To VWTOPIA and others -

I also received almost the same exact email this morning from James/Denise Mclean but they were expressing interest in 50-70's Mercedes. He also references that he was currently restoring a '67 Porsche 911. Of course as a car person, I was interested and being that I am a car collector (15) of that vintage I thought someone had passed my name around or something. Meanwhile, I have gotten no response as I did answer (foolishly) his email and let him know I did have what he may be looking for. The wording was almost exact with the exception of the vehicles he was in search of and the vehicle he was currently restoring. With all the scams out there I should have known better to even answer but feel compelled thinking its a legit reach out for car. WHere I have lived in the northeast and now in Florida, I have covered many a ground with my vintage classic purchasing/selling so I felt it could be possible. ANyway, just wanted to add to the thread that I received the same thread. If anyone wants to see it I can post it but it looks just like VWTOPIA's. Thank you and please let me know if you have any 928 parts for 1982 as I am seeking an interior/dash/brake booster if anyone knows of any. thank you, Jeff

I know a Rob Becker in Jacksonville, pretty sure he is an attorney, into old school Mopar and BMW (use to have one of those BMW portalets ) and very active since day one with the Amelia Island Concours.
I have not talked to him in a long time.

Buying a Porsche / VW Buses

Greetings, I hope this message finds you well and safe.
Not sure if I got the correct address. Mike Carter gave me your contact information, he's a PCA's member.
I'm looking to buy a Porsche 356, 911/912. 50's to 90's. A 914/928/944/930/964/996 would spark my interest as well.
Mike thinks you may have or know about a one for sale. I'm also interested in vintage VW Buses.
Actually, I'm restoring my 1972 BMW 3.0 CS Coupe. I'll consider any condition.
