Those planes are beautiful. But not quite as nice as Southwest and Spirit.

When I lived in the Middle East the flight attendants from Gulf Air and Emirates played hard in Bahrain.

Really neat young ladies from all over the world. I was married, so, no...

However, for the right money, I would do that in a heart beat. Might be my last heart beat, but for the money I'd do it. Probably for less than you would think.

Bur the reality is that the building is constantly swaying and that stunt is nigh impossible w/o help. So I would require some stabilization assistance.

How did she get up there? It looks like a super tall column or spire(?) Dropped her off from a helicopter?

On a side note, I'm reliably informed that Emirates is the best/nicest airline in the world. Their Business Class and First Class is luxurious beyond belief.

At around 20 seconds in the video as the frame expands you can see a vertical steel pipe or tube going up behind the women. If she is standing up there I would bet she is attached to what ever that is behind her.

Most towers like tv or cellphone have an electrical assist that hooks up to an harness you wear.
It doesn't look like she had anything like that.

1000%. You can see the support she is, if it is not fake, attached to in this screen grab.

I am sure there is a way up there for maintenance (lights, etc.) and I would love to do it.

The "crew member" is in fact skydiver and stuntwoman Nicole Smith-Ludvik, who was enlisted for the ambitious shoot.

"This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and exciting stunts I've ever done," Smith-Ludvik wrote on Instagram. "A big shout out to Emirates Airlines for your creative marketing idea! It was a pleasure being a part of the team."

The shoot was carried out by helicopter and drones filming company Choppershoot, produced by Prime Productions AMG and TECS Event Services.

There was indeed someone standing 830 meters (~2,720 feet) up, on the tip of the Burj Khalifa. Specifically, skydiver Nicole Smith-Ludvik was the one seen in the video. And while she isn’t an Emirates flight attendant, she did really stand at the very top of the Burj Khalifa, and a helicopter and drone company did the filming.

As the skydiver describes her involvement:

“This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and exciting stunts I’ve ever done. A big shout out to Emirates Airlines for your creative marketing idea! It was a pleasure being a part of the team.”

Meanwhile here’s what the company behind the drones and helicopters had to say:

“Being part of such a special project – not only for the fact that we were trusted to help bring this to life (yes, this is very very real), but also what it means for so many families who have been separated from their families between here in Dubai and the UK. Definitely a project we’ll remember forever.”

This is simply unbelievable, and this video isn’t getting the attention it deserves given that it’s apparently real. I’m amazed the airline used this stunt just to announce the reopening of travel between the UK and UAE.

Now that I’ve learned that this is real, I’m having a bunch of new thoughts:

I’m getting severe anxiety watching this video over, and realizing it’s real
I’m still confused as to how she got to the very top of the Burj Khalifa? Did she climb, skydive, was she dropped off by a helicopter, or…?
Did she have other things on her when she got to the top, and if so, where did she store them?
Was she somehow secured while she was standing up there?
How long did it take to film all of this? How long was she up there for?

Pffff. You've obviously not flown Jet Blue, they have a zoo inside their high speed aluminum tubes. It's the best all inclusive entertainment in the world. Top that.

It might have taken 9 Flight Attendants to get that clip.

Waste of 9 perfectly good Hosties, much better uses for them.

We call them Hosties around here - short for Air hostess. they like being called hosties if you're ever this way.
