On one of those DGR rides a guy had a BMW bike from about 1958 or something like that. I asked him what it was like to ride and he said "Beautiful, it's like riding a couch."

Yes, those are Lester mag wheels and are somewhat desirable in the airhead crowd. I’d keep them on the bike if it was me.
