exactly tobra. spend a 6 mos rotation, or do some moonlighting in any inner city ER and you will be jaded forever... especially the leader board for items " extracted " from various human orifices... its astounding..

Any pool cues? My honorary nephew told me of when he wanted to do that to a pro player opponent. Opponent did many sharking moves...(Sharking...purposely distracting an opponent when he is shooting.)

Had a friend that was a ambulance paramedic , plenty of stories to share . The one that stood out to me is a distress call to a house . The wife meets the ambulance crew at the front door and points to her naked husband on the couch . As they get closer they see the issue ............ his Johnson is caught up in the beater bar of the vacuum cleaner !!!! 😲

They called a few minutes ago and put the senior tech on the phone. He walked me through some recommendations and I thought he was spot on.

With few exceptions, just the most basic of routine maintenance turns those nightmares in the video into, yup, routine maintenance.
The water drain reminded me of one of our FZJ 80's. Check the rocker panels for water. Drain them when needed, or remove the plugs if you don't dunk it.

I had an acquaintance who was a GI resident at SF General. He had stories.

Some of the stuff my wife told me about from her ER nurse days, I could not go back to that place. She said, "I am good at it, and someone has to do it." She is just the gal you want to have around if someone is trying to up and die on you. Since we moved here she has been first on scene for 3 different MVAs with fatalities. It is amazing how common it is for people to do nothing, or just take pictures, not even call 911

I once got a lifeguard cert at a summer camp full of crazy Canuks who hated Americans. The counselors had a high dive bellyflop competition from the high board. We'd put 'death rocks' in front of the doors to keep out the raccoons as big as my 50# dog. Fights with cans of OFF and lighters happened. Some metalhead randomly chucked a bowie knife at me across the room and it embedded in the bunk between my legs. They sat around playing cards like it never happened. It was a bit wilder then what I was accustomed to.

That Canadian water was ice cold and there were staying-underwater competitions. I'm a good swimmer but there were a few sketchy moments. They told us to offer an arm to a drowning victim, but if they panic and try to get on top of you, you just go under and swim away until they tire out and then go back. You may even have to dunk the victim to get them to release. Then pull them to shore with the head above water after water mouth-to-mouth.

Americans drowning? Just let them drown. Because you'll get sued otherwise. lol
